However, not all such apps allow you to connect with users on other operating systems. This problem is related to my ANDROID DEVICES and the BATTERY SAVER MODE. My problem with WhatsApp (WA) calls is SOLVED and Ive narrowed down the problem. Plus, it doesn’t offer the most modern feeling design and you’ll have to pay to use the Viber Out feature. So if you don’t like having to charge your phone every 20 or so hours, due to having Skype constantly running in background, Viber might be the better option by far. The main drawbacks with Viber are that it’s not popular like WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger so you may not find all your contacts there. Viber is far kinder on the battery than Skype and it doesn’t use as much memory when running in background, which means that it gives longer battery life and better performance.
